Here at Krysalis Kuriosities, we believe that every creature deserves to flutter, crawl, or skitter through life to the fullest before joining our collection of natural wonders! We are dedicated to ethically sourcing all our oddities, ensuring that every specimen has lived its best, most adventurous life before finding its forever home with a curious collector like you.

Most of our winged beauties come from butterfly houses that work tirelessly to help preserve species. These magical places raise butterflies in captivity and release them into the wild to help their populations grow. But, as nature has its way, some butterflies eventually rest their wings for the last time. Only then do they become available to our trusted suppliers—who, by the way, we’ve searched high and low (and through many a jungle of research) to find!

While we’re happy to share how our specimens are sourced, we keep our supplier details under wraps like a well-kept treasure map. After all, finding ethical partners was no small feat!
